Yeah, the "regular interval" is 14-16 months so far, not one per year. So if they stick to this, we can expect in January-March 2017.

• There may be some places where an incorrect flag is displayed, just like with E notes (Slovakia / France). There isn't a quick fix for this, but this too will be fixed at some point. It's all just a matter of time..

But nobody noticed. The Trick is, to check the printer flag when entering the serial number. then checking the second Character in Ascii Number, if its number before or after the block of numbersymbols.

This sounds great, dirk81, but this is not applicable since avij deactivated the flag of printercode.

I'm sorry I cannot write code, but when avij published he had deactivated it, I thought of a different solution, WITH printercode flag included. Including also the informative text of logged banknotes ("printed at" for europabills, and "printed by x for y" in the case of 2002s).

It is as follows:

IF printer letter is the same as serialnumber letter, bill is Europa.
Only one flag appears next to serialnumber and informative text of logged banknote reads "printed at".

If printer letter is different from serialnumber letter, bill is 2002. Two flags appear, one for printercode and one for serialnumber, and informative text reads "printed by x for y".

This could cause one problem only, in the case of dutch-printed cypriot banknotes.

But I'm sure that a compound of both solutions can work fine for all.

EDIT HERE:

The check for the second digit of serialnumber (letter/number) would solve this issue, too.

Still no europa notes here in Athens and like yesterday, the same happened today.

Instead of new notes, the atm had again uncirculated sequential notes from the first series.

It seems that they have a respectable amount of old notes in stock which now they put into circulation.
