this is clearly a friendly hit:

the first - non-active - user, is named Murphythemouton, the second user lists his e-mail as MurphySmets @ etc.

so 2 Murphy's from Charleroi... seems obvious to me

I'm confused, why somebody needs to check such things? It seems very easy to make a program, which will test the database for hits in series.

Yes, it might be easy to make the system work that way but we need humans to evaluate the case. Even though such hits are always fake, the user can't be "automatically" punished by deleting all of his notes. So human reconcideration is always needed. :idea:

Romeotango is a very clear fake case and I'm just waiting when admins ban him for good. This is already the third time he had faked tens of thousands of notes. It's sad that he has tens of hits which may all seem real to the other users not following up this thread. They may wonder where their beautiful "hits" one day have gone. This is why I think actions should be taken pretty rapidly agains fakers. :!:

And when getting uncirculated notes at a bank on holidays, might cause such hits when entering them some days or even weeks later when being back at home.

actually, in such cases it would be a good idea to send a mail to the users who lose hits this way, cause only a very small fraction of the users is also active on the forum.

This is a nice solution. These users should know what happened to their maybe special hits...
