Few weeks ago I was in Germany so it was actually my first time using Maltese euro coins abroad. Shopkeepers could not hold their reaction …

I heard WOW where are these from!!??

A waiters in a restaurant called all her colleagues to show them the Maltese euro coins that she had just got from me :lol:

I don't make a lot of a deal when it comes to euro coins from far away lands,back in early 2002 I found a one euro coin from Greece in Burgos,Spain.Sold it the very next day for 5 euros.I have had a couple of coins from Malta and one or two fro Crypus,I only took one home and it was pure luck that the coin made it back to my apartment.

Today I found my first :flag-mt: coin, a 20c. It looks very nice, the year says 2008.
It must be said, not much chance for an older year...

Yesterday I got my first Maltese coin - 5 cent in *very" bad condition :roll:

a couple of days ago i finally got the first coin of a country that entered the €-zone after us - a 2€ :flag-mt: coin (in Citypark mall, Ljubljana).

today I found one 5 ct from Malta 2008 in a roll : it's my first maltese coin :wink: :D

Today I received a Maltese 1 euro coin from one of the money changing machines at Fiumicino Airport, Rome, Italy.

I found my first Malta coin yesterday. Today I was paying for something, when I noticed there was a 2008 Malta € 2 coin in my wallet. I must have got it yesterday in the supermarket.

It will end up in my family's coin collection.
My NIG stats have finally disappeared. My EBTST stats are still available.
