Ehhh, when was the last newsletter? I subscribed months ago but didn't receive anything yet. Something wrong in the system or hasn't there been a newsletter for so long?
Greetings,

Senior

I don't know. I have ordered Newsletters but I'm still not getting any. I guess some email filters are blocking the way. Yet, I don't mind because I can read everything on these pages. 8)

The last newsletter was issued March 26, 2004. I'll post the Dutch version in the Dutch forum, for those who are interested...

I have a few suggestions for EBT , @avij ; is it on your to do list ??
Perhaps other people comment on it ???

1) I have noticed that many new users try the site with 1-5 notes , and never return again.. Which is a pity... After you have entered a note , you get the screen with the info of the notes and a piece of tekst (help tekst)... Since I am at EBT , this text is empty , waiting to be filled..

Perhaps , we could used this empty text to encourage a little more..

Like :
Thank you for entering your notes at EBT.. At this moment , it takes ... notes on average to receive a hit... This number is going down rapidly , so don't hesitate to come back soon and enter more notes !!

2) The EBT Tool , which Nerzhul developped.. Is it possible , this tool is somehow editted into EBT ?? I imagine , I click on user ans or bhoeyb for instance and click a (new) button stats... next , I can see his stats..
It would really be interesting to see the development in heavy users (notes / month , high / low short codes , etc.) or other fellow users..
Of course ; some items of the EBT tool have to be modified (f.i. the password ; should be hidden) ...

3) At this moment , one can see 10 pages with new users...
I think it would be interesting to see (in one view) how many notes these new users have entered so far.. so an extra column would have to be at these pages , updated ( I believe) every 15 minutes , same as now ??? I understand it can't be updated real time..
In this way , it is easy to see new users entering a lot of notes...

4) User / town ..
If you click the town of a user , you'll see all users from your town..
I think it would be nice here also to see in one view how many notes they have entered..

FVS
If you can't solve it it's not a problem..

Yes 3 would be nice :)
Now you must put on all new people if you want to see if they have many notes. Maybe it is better when you can see it as in your referral list.

FotoVideoStore wrote: 1) Helptext
I agree with this. There must be set a helptext. What, i don't know, some simple thing i guess.
FotoVideoStore wrote: 2) Implementing The EBT Tool
I think this is a impossible thing.
A part of the things of that tool are also on the EBT site, but if you want to generate all the things of that, then you are killin you speed of the site.
Maybe the personal information of other users could be on another way, but then is the question: What do you want to see?
FotoVideoStore wrote: 3) New users with the notes
Also a nice thinking. I think this is possible and maybe also nice to see, but the thinkin of the 15 minute update is also a thing you have to remember.

I like all the ideas and at least 1 and 4 should be implemented. I don't know about that EBT tool thing, but what is for sure is that admins should immediately add a link to these few EBT tools to the "links" page! It's unbelievable that there isn't any link yet! :(
