Changi, Singapore - definitely. I flew via Singapore twice this summer, and the airport is great. Very clean, excellent food, not ridiculously expensive, free internet access terminals everywhere. And there are gardens, a health-club, places to sleep and relax.... everything you need.

In Europe, Schiphol is my favourite. Easy to get around and good facilities. I hate Heathrow - far too big, and getting bigger.

Worst airport I have been to: Mumbai international terminal - old, dirty, not enough space, and the most expensive beer I've ever had at an airport (plus, all the flights to Europe leave in the middle of the night - 01:00 to 03:00 - so you end up spending hours and hours there)

Exactly what my parents said when came back from travelling around Asia.
Me, personally, also liked Schiphol... But will fly to Kobenhavn soon, which is also said to be a nice airport... I'll decide then

I've been to:

Lisbon (home)
London Heathrow
Paris-CDG
Paris-Orly
Milan Malpenza
Rome Fiumicino

and my favorite is still Heathrow. Lots of shops (for spending the last few pounds), nice seating spots...

According to some big Brittish website,

Schiphol is the best Airport in Europe (2nd: Munich, 3rd: Londen Heatrow)
Singapore is mentioned as the best airport in the world.

I've been in Schiphol for the first time this summer. The international train from Brussels stopped in the middle of the airport, couldn't be more easy. It's also impossible to get lost there.
I have a new number one.

Schiphol and Helsinki are both quite good, I don't know which one to choose. Maybe I'll end up voting Helsinki, as it somehow has a more friendly lighting.

But what I can be very sure about is that Berlin Tegel is the worst airport on this planet.

Hm I would say the little airports in greece  I know the service is bad, but that's just what I like about them, that it's so chaotic..They just do something, i like that :)
But when it's really about the quality, i would say Schiphol for sofar i know...that's the only big airport where i've been, but i will experience the airport of Madrid really soon :D so i can't say yet, but i think schiphol is pretty good, except the mostly not smiling faces, especially when you go at night ;) And when you ignore the stressed people, yes then it's nice :)
So i voted: other :P Edit: oh think i am not "allowed" to vote, cause im not an international traveller (yet), but okay i already did it :P

Airports are almost my second home. Two till four times a week i am somewhere on an airport. Since 2003 i only travel within euro-country/UK/Denmark/Swiss anymore.
I don't travel by airplane to Den Haag, Luxemburg and Paris but by train/car.

My requirements for airports are, in sequence:
public transport to the city (train/metro) --> i hate the bus and taxis are mostly expensive
on time flights
lounges
pick up speed of luggage
comfortable environment.

The Best airports:
Brussels Zaventem (Belgium)
München (Germany)
Frankfurt (Germany) --> good connections by high speed train to the rest of Germany

The Second best:
Zürich (Swiss)

Neutral:
Vienna (Austria)
Copenhagen (Denmark)
Helsinki (Finland)
Southampton (UK)
Rome Fiumicino (Italy)
Cork (Ireland)

Don't like:
Barcelona (Spain) --> almost ok, problem with on time flights
Athens (Greece) --> only public transport is Ok
Milan Malpensa (Italy) --> only public transport is ok
Madrid T4 (Spain) --> go by public transport is a hell, delays are normal and on time is exceptional, environment is new and nice
Madrid T2 (Spain) --> only public transport is OK, environment is ugly and old
Lisbon (Portugal) --> chaotic
Chania and Heraklion (Greece) --> maybe good for tourists but not for business travellers
Valencia and Malaga (Spain) --> maybe good for tourists but not for business travellers
Paris CDG and Orly (France) --> to big, crowd, chaos (i go now by high speed train to Paris instead of by airplane)
Nürenberg (Germany)
Venice (Italy) --> maybe good for tourists but not for business travellers

The worst airports:
Bogota (Colombia)
Quito (Equador)
Guayaquil (Equador)
Lima (Peru)
Mexico (Mexico)
Naïrobi (Kenia)
Kinshasa (Congo)
Dakar (Senegal)

I never was in North America nor Asian.
