With this last print of the 50€ V022, we can see that the pre-eminence of the 50€ is obvious in Europe. Out of 528 drawings, 183 were for the 50€ banknote. This represents about 35% of the total.
On the other hand, the low number of issues of the €5 is surprising. Many merchants in France and in Europe complain continuously about the absence of €5 denominations in daily exchanges.
The European Central Bank seems to make curious choices...
