I found a small error in the USA-file. I entered two notes in Wapakoneta, Ohio 21777. http://de.eurobilltracker.eu/notes/?id=49665496

In the locations-stats these two notes are added to Maryland instead of Ohio. I am using NIG 1.657.

I have updated the codes_germany.txt file after the Kreisreform of Sachsen (1.8.2008)

I also changed the top 20 of biggest cities into a top 50

Is it possible that in NIG 1.657, adding the R/X Trichet recognition removed the P/X Trichet from the Trichetbingo?

Would it be possible, in a future NIG-version, to change the "lowest shortcodes by printer" to show the first time the user entered (for example) P001A1?

I think the program now takes the lowest shortcode + serial combination, e.g. if you enter first (say on January 1, 2008) a P001A1 X0123 and then later (say, in June 2008) a P001A1 X0012, the program takes the latter date as the occasion when one received the "lowest". However, I think it's of more interest to show the first time one received one of the "lowest".

For example, I myself entered an R001A1 bill a couple of times. First time was in 2005, serial starting with X002. Almost three years later, I received an R001A1 with the serial starting with X001. NIG now shows this:
R001A1 X001 D * 10.05.2008

when I really want it to show:
R001A1 X002 D 12.05.2005

I had to download a new version of NIG, because I found my first E/H note.
There are many exotic countries amoung the codes_country.txt files, but Luxembourg was (still) missing.

After some days of working through my data I complete a NIG codes file for Luxembourg

It contains :

3 Districts, 12 Cantons and 116 Municipalities

I used the languages : French (German) | Letzebuergian

The file is based only on the start of the postalcodes, like the file giulcenc created. But that file has more than the 68 Local Councils on Malta

Also same names of Local Councils aren't names of Local Councils but a list of all locations in that Local Councils, for example :

MGR=Mġarr - Binġemma - Fomm ir-Riħ - Għajn Tuffieħa - Ġnejna - l-Imselliet - Lippija - Ta' Mrejnu - Żebbiegħ [MGR] (giulcenc version)

MGR=Mġarr (MGR) (yli version)

No, I don't have any plans in creating a codes_poland.txt (no eurozone country and much bigger than countries like Liechtenstein or San Marino).

However, I got a unfinished file (16 województwo + 371 powiats) containing only some postal codes. If you (or anyone else reading this thread) want to use this file, just send me a PM with your Polish locations (name + postalcode).

My file is based on Wikipedia contents, integrated with suggestions from some Maltese users, but I was not able to exactly define the 68 Local Councils.
I'm happy you are able to do it, and I hope Bobtail insert your file in NIG's next update.
