I have renewed the file for Slovenia (see signature)

For a month or two, I'm busy on a detailed location file for Sweden, this will contain:

- The provinces (län)
- The municipalities
- The communities
- Biggest cities, based on the postal codes and not with their name.
- Postal codes

But (there's always a but) it will still take a lot of time because of the difficult postal code system and because it's a big country. It's just for those people who like the hit location part of NIG very much (like me ). They can look forward to this new item.

As far as I know it is a Windows program. I suppose it will also not work for Linux.

As far as I know it is a Windows program. I suppose it will also not work for Linux.

It will work for Linux (I tested it) and should work for Mac OS X using Wine.

I have found a computer with windows and have tried to generate my statistics. Unfortunately there seems to be a problem as NIG is considering that I have no longer inserted bills since 29/10/2009, which indeed is not correct.

What could cause this problem ?

Hi,
I've a problem with this Maltese hit. My NIG stats will not show it.

The post code of Żebbuġ is written with dots on the Z and the G (ŻBĠ 1000), so I changed my codes_malta.txt file:

ZBG=Żebbuġ (ZBG)
ŻBĠ=Żebbuġ (ZBG)

But NIG ignores it furthermore

Can somebody help me?

I had the same problem. Using the full postalcode helped :

I exported it "freshly" from the EBT-main website... very strange...

2: I have before tried to make a code file for the United Kingdom, but that did not really work out. Today I fixed it, having the idea that it should be based on names, not on the postcodes. I will upload the file shortly, though this requires switching computers to a very old laptop, so it might take a little time.

Edit2: Two small correction, if anyone got the file early, the right version has "Loaded United Kingdom Name File (version 31-01-2010 and three fourths)"

I've been hoping someone would do a UK postcode list for a while, even looked into doing it myself, but my computing skills were not up to it!

One minor comment: as you say in the txt file, there may be some mistakes... I only found a couple - Queensferry and Mold are both in Wales, not England (just over the border, and both with Chester postcodes, which you also comment about being split over the border).

Also, when I run the stats, my postcode list comes out OK, but seems to have my "home" postcode (NE) missing from the list (which is where most of my UK notes are entered).
