Only yesterday I entered nearly 900 numbers into the system for notes ranging from :note-5: up to :note-500: inclusive, all with consecutive numbers. And in case you doubt such input, I can show you the notes, they are still in my possession !!

maybe because users who usually gets notes in bundles don't enter only less than 10 notes for each serie

It's very easy to get a lot of little serials.

You can een get some different serials of 2,3,4 in one bundle from the same ATM (as I explained in my previous post).
You also can get serials from different ATM's (including the ATM's in the same building). When they are filled with serials, you'll enter some serials. A few time ago, all of the ATM's in the Netherlands were filled with brand new notes (and therefore serials). So then I got about TEN serials EACH DAY.

And especially in the countries outside the Netherlands, where the postal code areas are a lot bigger, you've got more ATM's within the same postal area, so you can't tell if those serials are from different banks (or ATM's).

And in this particulair case: Aren't the ATM's in Cyprus (as a starting €-country) filled with new notes (so with serials)? They have to start with new ones, haven't they?

So that's why serials (even if there are some one after each other) don't bother the motherators. Only if there's a hit in a serial it gets suspicious. Otherwise they won't even look onto it.

So let's stop pointing at serials only and look for the hits into serials instead. :wink:

Anyway I don't know if ATMs in other euro countries work as here in Italy.
Here, with your card, you can't get more than a decided amount (by your bank) for each day.

Here, with debit cards you can get about EUR 600 a day, but from credit cards, I don't think there is a limit.

This thread is called "suspicious user".

I jedge as a suspicious user a new user entering on its first day more than 170 bills and when I look at his bills ; they are all micro-series (5 bills per series). Such dispersion can be called "suspicous".

Please check the word "suspicious" in your dictionnary.
