Sorry it isn't
i didn't have notes at that time, and i only could login.
But if i want to enter a shortcode or serialcode, then is the only thing i could enter a number.
Is there a way you could change this Avij?
He can and will get around this problem. He only needs to add your phone model to the list of phone models which get a bit different page.
If your phone supports copy&paste, you may be able to get around this problem yourself.
Just write the short code in the zipcode (or was it city name) field, copy it from there and paste it in the short code field :)
In nokia phones copy&paste works by pressing down the pencil button and then moving the cursor around with the arrow keys.

Just tried this out on my Sony Ericsson T610. Once the bookmark was in place, very easy to enter a note, almost as quick as on the website. Excellent!
Just one thing, it wouldn't let me leave the comment field blank or enter just a space, I had to enter a dot instead. Is this supposed to happen or is it just specific to my phone?

Well, enter an interesting and/or informative comment and you're all set
Seriously though, it shouldn't force you to enter a comment. This has now been corrected, it shouldn't force you to enter a comment again. All the other fields still require some kind of an input.

Two things I wonder when using WAP-EBT with my NOKIA 6600:
1) When entering notes printed by P... after submitting, there is some error about a "requested page" and "displaying" it!? The information on who printed it and for whom seems to work with all other printers.
2) When making an mistake on entering the serial number, a page telling about a "checksum error" appears (OK that far), but from this page I can't go back! I've to enter the whole information again. Correcting a single wrong number would be easier. Wouldn't it?
1) Hmm, I haven't seen such problems with my 6210. However, there's a good possibility that the previous entry "Giesecke & Devrient (Germany - Munich/Leipzig)" was causing problems for some browsers. It has now been changed to "Giesecke & Devrient (Germany - Munich/Leipzig)" which should work in all browsers. Good catch.
2) That's a valid point, I think it'll get fixed along with one other related change that has been requested.

Looking at the logs it appears that there have been 6076 (!) notes entered via WAP, of which 36 have been hits.
From now on, if you manage to get a hit with a note entered with WAP, it'll show you the previous entries for that note (username, country, city, zip, date). I promised myself to write this feature when I got this hit. aplfi surely remembers my nervousness when I got that hit and the nearest internet cafe was kilometers away

Yes I sure remember. I was myself almost as nervous as avij. And I was also thinking all kind of possibilities like maybe it is a triple hit
Possibility to reuse the entered note denomination and comment for the next notes as well (select "reuse entered info" after entering a note)
New help texts
Ability to create a new EBT account via WAP. I'd prefer that you don't try to create fake accounts, but you can try the system by trying to re-register yourself using the same email and username, it'll eventually complain that the username is already in use.
Let me know if you run into problems..

avij wrote:Because nobody complained about the new version, I've now installed it as the production version and the beta page is now gone.
Well I won't be complainig! The new version is great, I've tested it several times today. It really speeds things up when you don't have to choose bill value and mark comments to every bill. Thanks, avij!
I like the "reuse note data"-feature - Great Job and many thanks for that.
I'm surely not complainig, but this "reuse"- feature would be very helpful with the page telling about a checksum error on entering the serial number. I also think to remember, that on this error page there is no link so the only chance to get away is to use the browser's "back"-function.
Thanks again for allowing me to track notes the mobile way.
