Dury (paytoll highway Amiens Sud) I payed 5,6 € with and received 9 x back; among those bills 2x 10 of philgelico; we didn't travel together and I don't know how much time happened between our passing the toll station.
- I will not ask moderation.
- if the other user asks moderation, it will be OK for me; if he doesn't , it's also OK and more pleasant
- if the moderators for the WEBTM decide it's a meeting hit, it's also OK, if they decide the opposite, it's also OK and more pleasant

I believe the four fivers came to Rome on the same flight from Berlin. I don't claim to know what happened to them prior to their takeoff from Berlin, but I consider that insignificant. The most significant path component for these hits is the common flight they took. Perhaps paradoxically, if those hits were only Berlin-Berlin hits, my moderation decision would probably have been different. In that case I would probably have left the 24-day hit as unmoderated. [edit: in addition to the 50-day hit]

Sorry avij but I have a question after reading all the thread : WHO has taken the decision to moderate these four Hits (beaweb - LITO) after such an long time ? Only you (= 1 person) or a "team" of hit moderators (3 - 5 - 7 persons i.e.) ?
In the case (only) you have taken this decision, there's for me another rule to apply : "In dubio contra moderatum" - These case is, for me, not as simple as you can understand and I think that the following suggestion would be applied for this kind of "Hit moderation problem" : a team of hit Moderators (3 - 5 - 7 persons i.e.) take the (definitive) decision for moderating (or not) the Hits in question.

For the record, I haven't moderated ANY hits from ANYONE in the last few days, and NONE between you and opm EVER (*). People tend to forget this, but there's a team of moderators who moderate hits. In fact, my moderations account for only 1% of all the manual moderations (stats from last year). You clearly don't know the situation well enough, so please stop spreading misinformation.

And for what it's worth, this beaweb-opm case has indeed been discussed among the moderators, by an initiative of one of the moderators, with input from 7 different persons so far. I haven't even participated in that discussion, so I wonder why you still place your blame squarely on me.

As I've said in the past, I take responsibility of my own actions and inactions, but I don't take the responsibility of what others do or don't do. I can take a lot of criticism if it's justified, but if someone makes unjustified claims against me I feel offended. I'd much rather spend my time (and ENERGY and MOTIVATION) doing productive things instead of arguing and correcting the misinformation.

edit: (*) Actually I'm not 100% sure if I have never moderated any of those hits, but with 100% certainty none in the last few weeks, and with 95% of certainty for the time period preceding that. The moderations are logged, but the log does not contain information about whose hits were moderated. It does contain the affected serial number so the EBT user information can be found if needed, but it requires a bit of work. Which I'm not willing to do right now, as I'm writing this from my hotel room in Paris and I'd like to get some sleep now.

I'd prefer to decline commenting on the beaweb-opm hits. I haven't moderated those hits and I haven't participated in the discussion about the moderation of those hits. Most importantly, I'm not the "boss of moderators" or anything to that effect, so I don't have to defend the actions of "my underlings". I'm just one among the group of moderators who all have the same moderation privileges. All the moderators have the same technical abilities to moderate or unmoderate hits.
