Find four notes together that have been track together by her 8 months before it's normal?
Damn me I have to go back to school to study statistics and probability.

Why wouldn't it? I still have 2 hits in my wallet, waiting to be spent in a good environment. But give them to a bank, and it's not that unlikely they end up in a bundle on the shelf for some months...

of course it is normal !!!!!! I believe you never found a bundle !!! it's not only 4 notes he found: he found also more the 100 bills (who gave moderated hits)

if you don't understand that bills put together in a bank, remain together, are bundled together and are send to another country (since pooling of banknotes) you understand nothing to ebt !!!!!!!!!!!

b.t.w.: I'm writing this from my hotel room in Roma and just discovered all the crap your "friends" are writing about my hit here on the italian page   You are really a group of very bad people, just to say the minimum , to remain polite !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week I found an envelop with a bunch of fivers, which I got some months ago.
Today I spent them at Schiphol Airport.

They haven't found yet, but if someone would have found them, than I would also have these kind of hits..........

Is it normal to have a problem with recognized power users? Ask yourself! Look at the rankings, they don't play in the same league than you.

only a remember to everybody (extract from EBT rules)

Holding back notes, artificial entry patterns
We know it may be tempting to set some personal records by holding on to notes for a while and then entering them on a single day, but this is not a good idea. This type of behavior skews all kind of statistics, the most important being wrong timestamps which result in inaccurate travel data of hits. In the worst case you will even get 'reverse hits', where another user already tracked a note you spent in the past but decided to enter on EBT much later. As a guideline, you should enter the notes within two weeks of obtaining them, preferably as soon as possible.

And there wasn't anything wrong with this rule.
I know the "Ste" of SteDa was in Domburg this week, so no "delayed entry".

Keep also in mind, the ATM's can't be filled by the bank the ATM is in (they're not allowed to).
When a bank gets cash money, it's transported to the Central Bank, where the notes are checked if they're good enough to stay in circulation.
If so, they can be stored or transported to an ATM to fill it. That ATM is most likely in another city (it would be a coincidence if it's the same ATM again) or even in another country.

And EBT can't hurry the Central Bank to "re-circulate the notes immediately" .

As I have stated a while back in the German speaking part of this forum, I think this attitude shows exactly why EuroBillTracker is not more popular. For a few "bundle trackers", it seems to look like a good idea to shuffle :note-5:er packages around. Reading the forum, one might come to the conclusion that this is what EBT is all about.

In my opinion, it isn't. Unfortunately, this website is lacking any acknoledgement to the "casual users", who only enter notes they come across during their everyday life (and who indeed play in a totally different league). But that should not be a bad thing; there's no need to swoop on them. On the contrary, much more small users would be needed to make EBT truly interesting.

And yes, many casual users don't understand anything of pooling, and maybe don't even care. Judging from the slogan "Follow your Euro notes in their tracks", no deeper insight on the mechanisms of monetary distribution is needed to join. (One can track notes without knowing how banks are intertwined or what information is stored in the serial numbers).

Therefore, to a non-expert, it indeed may look suspicious if user A finds a whole bunch of notes at a time, all of which had already been tracked by user B. I can understand that such a pattern might be considered somewhat artificial and the matter is subsequently carried to this forum. In this case, someone with the necessary expertise should just explain the true deal, preferably without taking any personal offense.

100% agree.

Further, the interestingness score could help in such cases.

Is Presidente a non-expert? He entered his notes since may 2005. In my opinion, this is totally a personal offense against
an-148 (this is not the first time). Because 8 years and 163000 notes later, he should know how pooling and banks work.

Please stop this useful argue.
We have now understood who is against who !

Some users have doubts about some hits, ok, it's known, it's the right place.
Now cleaning girls are aware, they will act, or not...

Please stop the targeted accusations, we're fed up, we don't care.
It's a game.

The war is over, let's continue to play EBT the way you like, the rules are simple.
The fakers or cheaters are quickly spotted and "fixed", be sure of that.

If you are not one, be quiet
