Both combinations excist,
But I think Elmo is right because there are not so many Portuguese notes in Finland

And I have a question : in Finland is there only L/D001 notes ?

No, there are also L/D002

Yes, all Portuguese €50 notes are printed in the UK - (rinter H)
Just like a big part of the Finnish €50 notes.

No, there are also L/D002

I believe so - I have entered two such short codes, and both were 100s

Do you remember the signature of these L/100/D002-notes? Could those be all Trichet-notes?

thomas - no, they were Duisenberg notes

Most of the L/100/D002-notes in the database surfaced in 2004 but were obviously printed in 2003. So for the new notes with Trichet, a new plate D003 must have been used.
