Upon upgrade of the server and reboot, it of course didn't boot. The duration of the downtime isn't defined at this point.

Edit: up again.

Hello dserrano5,

I have updated te codes_ireland.txtfile and by using ';' it is now working for NIGMM

Maybe it is now also working for EBTST

I have asked in the Dutch forum to test it for me, but I have no responce.
I'm not a Tech, I've tried but I think I'm not able to download en run EBTST on my computer.

Please can You check it for me if this is working for for EBTST

Thanks

Hi dserrano5,

there is a little bug on the travel stats page. The dates are overwriting the city names.

Maybe you can make the picture a little big bigger?

Bad note (not public in my stats)

1.) T036/Zxxxx3249xxx , ingevoerd op 2015-08-21 in Nuenen .
• Bad short code position 'E6'

Should that be E5?
(I have already spend the note so I can't check)

No, its a T036<E3>.

Also this note should be a L0<8>7F6 and not a L007!

If anyone else needs support, feel free to ask - a cleaner database is our goal.

OK, thanks. I've corrected them.

Hey dserrano,

are you planning on adding palindromes computations to EBTST in a near future? I'm currently searching for them in Excel but it takes time, lots of steps and generates a huge file in the end :|

For what it's worth, on 110600 notes I entered:
- 5.9% have a 5-digits palindrome, like ABCBA somewhere in the serial number
- 0.6% have a 6-digits palindrome, like ABCCBA
- 0.4% have a 7-digits palindrome, like ABCDCBA
- 0.05% have a 8-digits palindrome, like ABCDDCBA
- 0.02% (that's 26 notes) have a 9-digits palindrome, like ABCDEDCBA
- 0.003% (that's 3 notes only) have a 10-digits palindrome, like ABCDEEDCBA
- none have a 11-digits palindrome

Being able to check the results in EBTST would be nice and time-saving :)

Interesting!! If dserrano is not planning this soon, would you be so amazingly kind as to let me have your file? It's not at all an easy thing to do and I'd love to check if I already have any 10-digit palindrome among my 20174 notes. (I am also assuming that neither nigmm nor the old NIG are doing these computations.)

Huh, the code is there https://github.com/dserrano5/ebtst/blob ... s.pm#L1496" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. If it's not active, there must be some reason.

Unfortunately I'm working 60+ hours a week as of late

Sadly I'm not fluent in Perl, thus I can't help you with coding and debugging. :|

I'm just noticing the palindrome_serials sub is searching for palindromes from 7 to 10 characters long, but 6 to 11 would be as useful as well.

Hi dserrano5, would it be an idea to make a distinction in the "short codes" page between Europa and 2002 series notes? I don't find it particularly interesting that my lowest U shortcode is currently U001A1 with a U**001 note, while my highest U shortcode is U023I4 with an M885 note, and would like to see separate entries for U/U and U/M notes (as well for other Europa / 2002 shortcodes that "interfere").

Same goes for the huge table; I would find it preferential to have all Europa and all 2002 entries grouped together, for example first all E... shortcodes belonging to 2002 series notes, and only after that all E... shortcodes belonging to Europa series notes. The current listing seems a bit, well, unclear.

That's funny because I did nasty things with the server last Thursday, not today! Well I'll take a look later. The backend may be down, or some little thing like that.

Edit: nothing immediately obvious, although the errors are indeed there. Just wait some minutes and try again. I should probably rewrite the entire thing…
