Here in the middle of Germany about one in 800 coins dedicates from Latvia. Especially the low denomination coins like 1, 2 and 5 Cent plus somehow the 2 Euro coins depicting Milda are not easy to find.
Once I was lucky to find a almost uncirculated 2016 1 Euro coin on the ground during a concert. Right next to it I found a uncirculated 2001 Frech 1 Euro coin. Wich is really weird because the are also very hard to find in good condition.
When I went to Latvia for holiday in 2017 I was saving all the Latvian coins in my change to spent them in my German home town.
All of the 133 coins were spent during one month in a small grocery. I never again received a Latvian coin there when I was buying my food.

I have a €2 Latvian coin - I received it in change from a bakery at the Frankfurt Airport train station, probably not too strange a place to get it from, all things considered.
