Congratulations to jofanautai in Lithuania (who I think is not a forum member) for this absolutely amazing hit:

EDIT: after posting this, I have come to the understanding that, unfortunately, this hit (and others from the same last EBTor) look suspicious and may be just using public serials. As soon as I know he results of the investigations, I will retract this (or reaffirm it, if genuine).

As I received some exotic country hits in the last time,
it was my desire to display the concerning country flags on the EBT profile page.
Unfortunately on the EBT profile page (signature) it is not possible to display images.
But all the country flags ARE IMAGES like https://lt.eurobilltracker.com/img/flags/Lithuania.gif

Some days ago EBT member Klapotec transfered a list of country flags (gif) into smileys.
Smileys can be very well displayed on the EBT profile page.
Just have fun with the new feature!

Note: This "country-flag-smileys" work exclusively on the EBT profile page and not here in the forum.
see-> "Smiley Flag" for the United States :flag-us: does not work here but on the profile page it will work.

I think, that Lithuanian banks don't change bills. You can change only in ATM.
This is a great piece of info. So is it the same as in Germany or Austria, wherre you just insert the money and then select denomonation you want returned ? Does it work with foreign cards too? Which banks? Is there a way how to find such branch, eg. locator etc?

The information from 2015 is, of course, very out of date and no longer relevant. Regarding the exchange of banknotes, based on my personal experience:
1. The Bank of Lithuania.
It exchanges euros currently in circulation for banknotes in denominations of €5 to €200 free of charge. It usually issues banknotes that have not been in circulation (UNC). Upon request, if the teller has them available, it is possible to obtain banknotes that have been in circulation.
2. Commercial banks.
Exchange services are subject to a fee, which varies depending on the bank, up to 5 % of the amount, with a minimum charge of €3–5 per transaction.
Terms and fees are updated regularly. Please check locally.
3. ATMs.
I rarely use them. I know very little about them. There are all sorts of models – some only dispense cash, whilst others accept and dispense banknotes. They have withdrawal limits and their own fees. I haven’t heard that you can choose the denominations, as you can in Germany or Austria. The ones I use to withdraw cash have an option in the menu to prioritise small or large notes. But you don’t always get what you choose.
4. Currency exchange bureaux.
They exchange currency into euros, or € into a different denomination of €. There is a charge for the service, which varies depending on the bureau: 1–5%. You’ll usually receive used € notes, though sometimes you’ll get UNC notes.

Thanks Sirius for the comprehensive info, I admit I was reading the whole thread and stumbled upon that, so I wanted to verify. Thanks again.
