Update rate of the notes list

Post by Nordstern »

Since the connection to database was cut off by the provider in January the notes-list is updated only four to five times a day.
Maybe this is due to performance reasons to avoid next cut off, but now it's pretty boring to view this list, isn't it? :(

I agree, I just posted ten minutes ago a question about it on the dutch section. I asked why it's isn't updated so often anymore.

It's funny to see that you're thinking the same about it!

It's not updated offline. There's a cache. I think it lasts for 30 minutes... so every 30 minutes you have a fresh list

Right now it's 12:45 and the latest notes that are shown in the database are these.....:

2003-02-17 08:47:49. Uxxxx3869xxx Lxxxxx Paris ( France, 75019)
2003-02-17 08:47:22. Uxxxx2923xxx Lxxxxx Paris ( France, 75001)
2003-02-17 08:46:59. Uxxxx6684xxx Lxxxxx Paris ( France, 75001)
2003-02-17 08:46:21. Sxxxx8553xxx Jxxxxx Paris ( France, 75015)
2003-02-17 08:45:56. Uxxxx9757xxx Lxxxxx Paris ( France, 75015)

It seems that it takes at least 4 hours before there is a fresh list.

Too it's now nearly impossible to detect bogus entries of notes .

BTW: Now it's 2:00 pm and the list hasn't be updated since five hours.
