My postcard will travel to France .
The person who will receive my card is a man who loves cats. He writes: "If you send me a postcard showing a cute baby cat you will really make my day." I will do that

Well, you can call me paranoid, but I have a couple of questions: How are your personal details protected there? When you sign up, do you have actual access on addresses or do you just receive them on request? Aren't you worried about all kinds of weirdos turning up on your doorstep?
(Yup, I do like this sort of projects, I just have some doubts on this one.)

I am not worried, because my name is not at the door leading to my actual flat, it is just on the big door bell panel on the street entrance and on the mailbox
You only get 3 addresses at a time and they are never from your country, so the weirdos will have to make the effort to travel a bit to annoy you. (Unless...they register under a wrong name and a diiferent country, umm...uh oh, the paranoia is coming)
one of three cards I've sent has arrived and I'm now waiting to recive my first one!!!
"Luultavasti myrskyjä on vain siksi, että niiden jälkeen saataisiin auringonnousu", Muumipappa
"Storms probably exist only to be able to have sunrise after them", Moomin Visit My Forest

I really don't understand what he means, but I am not that paranoid, so I will register anyway. Some advertisement in my snail-mailbox won't kill me.
I think he means that he wont be paying you any compensations, if somebody gets your address from the site and then breaks into your home and steals your stuff.

Yes, after reading it again I think that's what he's talking about.
This should be no reason not to join this fun-site, the cards I sent to Portugal and the US arrived within a week and I received a short note from those users by e-mail. Now I requested two more adresses, and (surprise, surprise) one is in Finland (Hiirola)
No weirdos on my doorstep yet , but no postcards in the mailbox so far either.
