Have you ever done some joy tracking?
Maybe you are familiar with the term joy riding: "Stealing a car. Driving around with it and when you've had your fun, placing the car back were you stole it, with or without refilling it with the fuel you consumed."
Joy tracking is somewhat similar. You pick someones pocket to get his or her wallet. Take the bills out of it. Mark the short codes and serial numbers in order to enter them into EBT. And then pock picket* the wallet back to the person you stole it from.
*pock picket: because I didn't now the opposite word for pick pocket I had to make one up.

In five years everyone uses that expression. Shame on you :Demmem wrote:*pock picket: because I didn't now the opposite word for pick pocket I had to make one up.

pick pocket <--> poke pocket
or
pick pocket <--> stick pocket
A legal form of joy tracking: Try to glance at other people's notes when they pay in front of you

Flip pocket
I never pock picketed, but whenever I remember (not often, alas), I just swap pocket with anyone I'm with: gimme your bills, I'll give you mine.
Re: Flip pocket
I do the same if I have enough bills to exchange the bills in my fathers,lmviterbo wrote:I never pock picketed, but whenever I remember (not often, alas), I just swap pocket with anyone I'm with: gimme your bills, I'll give you mine.
my mothers or my sisters wallet, else I write the serial numbers down.

I've done it like this...
People usually don't buy rounds in pubs in Finland - everyone buys their own beer. When I have been in a pub with my friends and they have given me a fiver and asked me to buy a beer for them at the same time I buy one for myself I haven't used that fiver but another (marked) one. Later I have written down the numbers of their notes.

I have more than once 'stolen' the numbers of someone his money.
If you let me alone with you're money, those bills will certainly be entered into the database of EBT that evening...
Or (more likely) I'll ask you if I may write down the numbers.
Offcourse a better way of stealing then taking home the entire bill without asking!

If I see a bill in the house, I take it immediately to see if it isn't tracked. Every time my mother enter the house after she left it she has to give her money, of course I give it back after I have checked it.
