Hmm, nothing really stange, only a spanish user who visited Berlin, entered a note (from) there and forgot to change the country setting... We humans act, there will be some mistakes, so nothing to be concerned about.

Or he did not forget to change the country and entered the bills there.
When I was in Belgium I entered the notes I got out of the local ATM as Belgium and spend most of them there.
If I used my hometown in the Netherlands I would have suggested that the note was there when in fact it didn't leave Belgium.
So this spanish user did very well.

Well, the mistake was corrected so you can't see anylonger how it was when I first saw it. The hit was traced on the map leading all the way down to somewhere in Africa. Not realy to Berlin...

Because the system didn't have the coordinates and set it as 0ºN, 0ºE, I guess, which is in the Atlantic Ocean, close to Africa.

The post codes here are the same. How there can be any distance between them? Is this common situation with the system or what? I haven't seen like that in Finland (every post code has unique coordinates.
Living away from Euro zone in the beautiful Vancouver, Canada since January 2012. Experiences and stories of living in here can be found in here (in Finnish).

A location is determined by it's name and post code. So two different pairs of name and location can have a distance greater 0.

The system looks at placenames first and then at the postcodes. So every placename has its own coordinates.

Here it's the same: postal code 2200 is for "Herentals" and includes 1 city Herentals and 2 villages Morkhoven and Noorderwijk. Why, I dunno  ... I would prefer postal codes like 2200, 2201 and 2202.

OK, I thought it's the other way around (post code would be the more meaningful, not the city name since they are so ofter typoed). By the way, is it official that in some countries there are really different names for different cities? In Finland there are some post code areas spreding out to other municipality's area, but still every post code has an unique name (I at least believe it's like this).

Given that in Portugal and the Netherlands one postal code is typically shared by just a few houses, that would be impractical. On the other hand, in rural areas of Austria and Germany one postal code may be shared by several boroughs and cover a fairly large area. Due to the variety of different systems of postal codes the place name always takes precedence over the postal code.
Besides, typos in postal codes are much more common than typos in city names. The latter are just more visible.

True. For example, in a small street, the houses with even door numbers would get something as 2900-086 and the ones with even numbers 2900-087.

The comment says "Wrong entry, It's a 100-Euro-bill, sorry".

So is this really a hit?
