Today I spent a € 10,- from Austria without having entered that note on this EBT.com. I got a € 5,- from Belgium as change and spent that one 5 minutes later also without entering it

I ALWAYS do, this time I was in a hurry.
But when I got home, I felt my stupid deeds earlier that morning were irreversible.

Personally, I'm against writing down serials to enter bills later. You can get big errors easily like that.
A scenario:
You're shopping. You get a bill as change. Because there isn't a computer around, you write down the short code and serial, intending to enter the bill later. A bit later, you spend the bill again. The store clerk has access to the internet and enters it. When you come home, you enter the bill after the store clerk, while you had it before him
That's the sort of thing that shouldn't happen.

May the Euro be with you.
I had once case like this, I simply put my date in comments. In think it would work fine, I entered notes many days later so date was enough.Stefan wrote:That's the sort of thing that shouldn't happen.
If the only pen you've got is at cash desk (to sign card receipts) I understand that you may feel funny writing down serials before spending the money
And for the sinner, how about stopping people on street to ask swap money with you. When you get the money you write down serial and stop another person. Five times is enough for the first time offense
(No intention to make fun of certain religions which have atonements for sins..)
Therefore we have a comment field to enter the right date.Stefan wrote:Personally, I'm against writing down serials to enter bills later. You can get big errors easily like that.
