Guess when bill 200000 will be entered

Post by smh »

The webmaster himself in another topic wrote: So are we doing this for 200000 ?
Sure, why not, make your guesses

Let me propose some rules:

1) The closest guess wins, nomatter if it's before or after the bill was entered.

2) Guesses should contain both the date and the time (CET). If no date is mentioned the guess is invalid, if no time is mentioned it will be 0:01 on that day. If no AM or PM is mentioned it will be considered a 24 hour notation.

3) Guesses can only be made in this topic

4) Only guesses on or before 16-06-2002 23:59 CET are valid

=====================================

The Final list of guesses. In a week or two we'll know ....

Times should be in Central European Time (CET) like already said in the rules.

Your message is posted at 22h38...
If you see it in UK time, go to your profile and change the timesettings to GMT +2
that should do it I think

Sorry Mr Euro, But we can always make you the referee.

CET is the time they use in Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy etc. This is normally GMT+1 but since we are using daylight saving time you have to add another hour to GMT

In the UK, Ireland and Portugal they use Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)(well, at the moment +1 i guess)

In Finland and Greece they use Eastern Europe Time (EET) (normally GMT+2

BTW, the times on the forum are in GMT+1. so one hour behind for most of us.

But lets go back to the guessing, so far just one guess:

Sure, why not, make your guesses

Let me propose some rules:
Monday 19 June, (as that is when my holiday is over).

Let's say at 14.00 Dutch Time (so it will be 13.00 GMT/CET :?: )

And now of to the train to start the holiday :D :D :D
One step done, many more to go

No CET=GMT+1

The time on the site is CET=GMT+1 so let's make all the entries CET that is GMT+1 ie the time on the site

Holy cow, it's getting a bit confusing. Maybe we should get rid of the daylight saving time. ;-)

I admit that i confused myself coz like Philippe said the CET doesn't change during the summer months.

But for me it's okay to use GMT+1 like on this site. You can also explain which time you mean and i'll change it for you.

So,

Really ??? I know the time changes in France and since the site is hosted in France I expect the times will be adjusted.

Let's just make the rule the following : enter whatever time you want, it has to match the time on the site...

Humm... I'm glad I didn't use time as a primary key for the notes table, I would have been in trouble with daylight saving time or the other way around !! I wonder if other sites made that mistake ;)
