I doubt that there's ever been a winner of the TdF who did it without taking some drugs. It was Cocaine in the 20s, Amphetamines in the 60s, Steroids in the 80s, Epo in the 90s, now it's blood doping (and god knows how many substances I forgot).
Look at how many of the "good" sportsmen are asthmatics. How many have problems with their kidneys, liver, thyroid, hip or whatever and "need" (legally) to take this and that medicine.
Ya right. If you were an asthmatic and had problems with your kidneys, would you take a pro cycling tour of 3000km around France?
Legalizing doping won't help. At which age would you start to allow taking these substances? 18? Then 16 year olds would dope. 16? Then 14 year olds would take these things. No age limitation? Would you really want 8 year old children take growth hormones, testosteron, breast cancer medicine (to stop growing breasts from the testosterone) and 47 other substances?

I'm sad about the doping news, but is there a sport anymore without doping? Or to be more specific - a top 10 without doping?

I forgot that! I can't write golf anymore, because I have watched it once when Mikko Ilonen was in good position on British Open this year.turtle wrote: 1. ... boxing![]()
He is the second Finn to partisipate in a Tour ever.2. Yea I've heard about Carlströmand not even about the winner Landis, never heard about that guy
But probably I've heard of that Finn because it's the only Finn there, and that catched my eyes or something
At least when it ís the only Finn, than that was it, and otherwise i don't know why
Now second time - it means that you are reading this thread actively3. Yep, you're right
