I just came back from a holiday trip to America and looked through the thread. Have I forgotten a nomination? If so, please complain.

The nomination period will soon be over. We had 37 votes in the poll but only 11 nominations so far. Nominate now!

One thing is clear to me now: If we had 1€ notes I would stop tracking. It is just too many of these dirty, ugly, worn-out things. I would have to be online all day if I wanted to enter them all, especially on the road, between the toll plazas.

I got some 1$ coins from vending machines in New York and spent them elsewhere in the country ("Oh, is this a Dollar?")

US Dollars are a currency I better handle with my credit card. To me it is much more fun to deal with Euro notes. :D
Canadian Dollars are nicer, and they have 1$ and 2$ coins.

I got my Dollars here in Germany and I did not exchange any Euro in America - I did not provoke any intercontinental hits.

Thanks to all who nominated me :D

But Donald if I read very well Avij nominated me too. In the last post of the second page he nominates me.

It doesn't matter Donald. I think you were still in America with your thaughts when you were reading this topic. :D
Ah, look at all the lonely Euronotes. Where do they all come from? (The Beatles, Eleanor Rigby)

Thanks, Wouter1. I visited the northeast of the USA and Canada from Quebec to Niagara Falls. The major objectives were to see the colors of the Indian Summer and to visit New York and Washington. Thus no Disneyland, I had this in Paris in May 2001.

I don't know very well what you really mean by midnight the 25th. Is it when that day starts or is it at the end of that day?

If it is the second solution than I would like to nominate Fons. His avatar of the walking astronaut was very beautiful but this one is more beautiful. Do you know which comet it is, Fons?

Midnight is the end of the day. The comet should be Hale-Bob (or was it Hale-Bopp?) because the avatar's URL is: http://images.google.nl/images?q=tbn:sP ... ages/haleb
