New Austrian users!

In the German forum it is said that this is due to a raffle/lottery by a Bavarian radio station (which you can surely receive in parts of Austria) which is giving 10,000 Euro to the person showing up with a bank note (:note-10:) with a certain serial number which was announced on the radio this morning - therefore, giving bill tracking some good publicity
.
This may explain the number of new users from Southern Germany this morning (a few guys from Munich and so forth) but I don't think that is the reason for all the new Austrian users, especially since quite a few are from Vienna which is far from the German border. So anybody got a better explanation?

The riddle is solved. There is a large article in the Austrian newspaper "KURIER" about hasallMr Euro wrote:It seems that today we have a mini-surge of new users in Austria. Is there anyone who knows where something has been published about EBT in Austria?
Unfortunately an online version of this article is not available.

Excellent work! Thanks to this interview we have already 77 new austrian users! Hopefully, some other austrian media will take over the article.ErGo wrote:The miracle is solved. Sehr geehrte Herren!
Ich habe eine recht interessante Homepage gefunden, bei der es darum geht, den Weg der Euro-Banknoten quer durch Europa nachzuverfolgen: http://www.eurobilltracker.com
(...)
Vielleicht könnten Sie diese Seiten-Vorstellung einmal in Ihrer Berichterstattung berücksichtigen!
Mit freundlichen Grüßen

While a better electronic form of the "Kurier" article is in the making, here's a preliminary version. The links below are likely to stop working in a month or so.
Upper half of the article (4.1 MB)
Lower half of the article (2.9 MB)
The article is written in German.

It seems the Geocities home page quota has been exceeded, so here's the pdf file.
