I posted elsewhere (here and 3 posts below) claiming that it should be nice for EBT to link to all other euro banknotes tracking websites.
I wrote:For once, EBT is big enough not to be worried about client churning (telecommunications slang for moving to another mobile phone company). In fact, the second biggest is way far from us, with their 280 thousand bills registered. Second, we could benefit of synergies with the other fellows.
Well, I believe there is already at least one tracker actively enrolled on such synergies, namely thomas, who must be Thomas Hagemann, judging by his link to http://www.hagemann.org, owner (and linking to) SomePlaceForbiddenHere.net. (In fact, I made a big confusion between thomas and Thomas B, both good posters and trackers. By the way, thank you thomas for your kind answer on what an uncirculated note means in eurotracking slang :) )

emmem, 6th most prolific poster, who has a list of these sites on his own wonderful statistics page (EBTL), pointed out to me that there are 5 other websites of the kind. One of them, though, is not working anymore, I think.
And although we have by far the biggest market share (73% ten days ago, according to emmem), one of the competitors tracks more notes in Spain, Switzerland and Andorra, and another one tracks much more Austrian bills than we do.

So... What do the wEBTmasters think of interchanges with them? Of what kind? Is there already something being done in the back-office (and not the kind of discussion to be held here anyway)?

And what do others think? Is it alright for the forum to interditing (or at least trying to  ) a link to the competition? And would it be nice, useless or just plain stupid to link to them on the main EBT site?

In fact, I think about offering my 73.000 notes to EBT as long as I can do it without having to do the programming. The simplest way for me would be to use the email-inserter programmed by tjum, one of my users. For details about the mail interface already existing for my site, send an email with subject "help" to euro-insert@fahrscheinwesen.de

Another approach would be: Some EBT-user writes an interface for bulk insertion of notes into EBT, where the input (note data) is coming by email that I send once a day or so.

Sorry

This thread, in fact, belongs to the main forum.

Sorry for the mess. I don't know if moderators can move the whole thread.

(Maybe that's why I didn't get any answer before thomas's.)
