Olen omena!
I'm terribly sorry for being this cruel and inhuman to you. But anyway. Listen to this song.
http://koti.mbnet.fi/stick/omena.mp3
The words:
olen = I am
omena = an apple
pyöreä = round
punainen = red
I was forced to listen to that song continuosly for 78h last August. Thgat was in Assembly 2003 where people played that song all the time. When I went sleeping, I heard that song. While I slept, that song creeped into my dreams from speakers around me. When I woke up I still heard the same song.
Listen to it. And get addicted.
And once again: Sorry.

Have you been arrested? I once saw a movie where the police played songs repeatingly to make the arrested person confess.Dakkus wrote:I was forced to listen to that song continuosly for 78h last August.
Re: Olen omena!
I just saw a sketch (on the tv-programm "Man bijt Hond", Dutch and Flemish people will know it) about a man being interrogated. He's almost at the breaking point, but doesn't give in. And then they start "Heb je even voor mij" by Frans Bauer and he cracks...Donald wrote:Have you been arrested? I can empathise with that, I only had to listen to it twice last Saturday and that was nearly enough to drive me crazy.
(I can't listen to your song right now, Dakkus, I'll check it out later)

I feel sorry for you. I listened to it only a few times and .. well, that was enough. I'm speechless.Dakkus wrote:And once again: Sorry.

Considering that Assembly is the world's biggest demoscene happening (4000 geeks in an ice hockey arena for 78h) it's a real surprise. Though, I guess quite a many psychiastrists earned some extra kiloeuros after the happening ;)Aylah wrote:Oh my god! And this was really played so often as you discribe? I'm really surprised that no one had to go into a psychiatry...
http://www.assembly.org/ is the home page of the happening if someone happens to be more interested. I recommend visiting the happening. Last year I spent most of my time there with four Icelandic people. The year before I met a Californian.

I think that if I would listen to it for 78 hours I would start to look like Dakkus his avatar.
