Reading shortcode

Post by hoppa »

I'm just curious if you have any problem in reading the shortcode on the bills. I wear glasses but still I use a magnifying glass. If the bills are new I can read them without help but if they are wrinkled I need some help.

How about you?

I can say a name of an icebreaker 1,5km kilometers away :D
(they have their names printed with a huge font)

Reading that took me half an hour, BTW. And I only succeeded because I remembered the names in advance. They're Urho and Sisu. Otso and Kontio are different coloured :)

I can also read the short code of the note while running to metro. But in the dark I see nothing. My girlfriend who has glasses has to guide me when it's even a bit dark :D

I voted 'my glasses are enough' and then I remembered I'm near-sighted and I could probably see them even better without the glasses - or at least I could stare at them longer without getting a headache...

I voted 'my glasses are enough', although I don't REALLY wear glasses (I did, two or three years ago, but then they got broken and I never got a replacement). I am a bit short-sighted and I usually need to get the bill close to my eyes to read it well.

There is just few notes which i had to look with glasses. They was very bad condition.

Usually i can check codes when i'm driving car, also in the dark i see they quite well. But not when i'm running to the metro or bus... i just afraid that note will slip between my fingers and fly somewhere from my hands.
