My heart leapt yesterday, I had a note that seemed to have all the numbers. They were all jumbled up, of course, so I started checking:
0123456 89 xx
If only one of those two x's had been a 7....
I don't háve a life.

I don't really seem to get special numbers. My 'coolest' was a bill that ended with 888666

Here's a cool sequence I've just entered:
Pabbcdceefgf
where the low case letters match number digits (a=0, b=4, for example).

by the way, sometimes I find notes where I can type the serial number alternatingly with my left and right index finger without crossing them.
That means, all even digits are on the keyboard more right than the odd digits before and after, for example X02749803548
Does anyone know how to calculate the probability of any note, let's say starting with X0, to have such a number?
The probability that in a X0 note
-digit 3 is left from digit 4
-digit 5 is left from digit 6
-digit 7 is left from digit 8
-digit 9 is left from digit 10
-digit 11 is left from digit 12 (cannot be 0)
is 0.45*0.45*0.45*0.45*0.36 = about 1/68
they are very frequent, but that includes numbers like X01245893889 that don't follow the first rule

I got a really long palindrome yesterday! There is 29255292 in the serial number. Pretty long palindrome, almost as long as possible.
