Thanks Avij! I know this would be just a piece of cake for you. :D And yes, I can think of so many other things/statistics I'd like to see here on the forum but let's keep it simple for now. But I still have one question: If I interpret this table correctly, it shows that all of the recent users have registered notes. Really? 8O I haven't had time to check, but aren't there always some people who just drop in to check the site and never register any notes? (And since I've written this text here, I probably realise my own mistake soon. Oh well. Doesn't matter. )

I guess most people always insert a note or two, just to see how the site works. There must be some 0-bill users (Andorra has been mentioned), of course, but I believe them to be extremely rare (this is just a guess, BTW, I haven't done any db checking).

I just might swallow the bait, but I'll wait until we have 20000 users. Much more comfortable to do the maths. "I-I-I-I'm wicked and I'm lazy..." :D

Hey,
These are really interesting stats. With these stats we can see how effective an maillist can be...

Next time a day before we send out the newsletter we have to take these stats again, and than 2 weeks after the newsletter release... If you see a big difference in activity rate (pe last month %) than we could send out a news letter more frequently...

I think this is a great stat. Why don't we make an extra line below the users. "active users"

I added those monthlies up and I got 2885 active users. (December and January are included)

Um, good point. Actually I used the "lastactive" field in the user table, which seems to be initialized to the current date when the user account is created, and it's updated whenever the user enters notes. But if that user registered on that day, you can't argue that he wasn't "active" that day, right?

Could we please have an update of this table? I'd be curious to know how many users are still here one month after the peak in February. :)
