Thanks Avij! I know this would be just a piece of cake for you.avij wrote:Ha, is that the best challenge you can throw at me? I could do that with my hands tied behind my back while entering the commands with my nose. Well, that's assuming that I had spent a few minutes preparing the query in advance and all I had to do with my nose was to press the Enter key.

I guess most people always insert a note or two, just to see how the site works. There must be some 0-bill users (Andorra has been mentioned), of course, but I believe them to be extremely rare (this is just a guess, BTW, I haven't done any db checking).Annie_in_exile wrote: I haven't had time to check, but aren't there always some people who just drop in to check the site and never register any notes?

Hey,
These are really interesting stats. With these stats we can see how effective an maillist can be...
Next time a day before we send out the newsletter we have to take these stats again, and than 2 weeks after the newsletter release... If you see a big difference in activity rate (pe last month %) than we could send out a news letter more frequently...
I think this is a great stat. Why don't we make an extra line below the users. "active users"
I added those monthlies up and I got 2885 active users. (December and January are included)

Um, good point. Actually I used the "lastactive" field in the user table, which seems to be initialized to the current date when the user account is created, and it's updated whenever the user enters notes. But if that user registered on that day, you can't argue that he wasn't "active" that day, right?Annie_in_exile wrote:If I interpret this table correctly, it shows that all of the recent users have registered notes. Really?
