People write that you could see it without binoculars, but I haven't really managed to see it. With binoculars it is much easier.
The comet is currently in the constellation Perseus, you can see the position hereand here
To find it, you should first find the constellation Perseus. Look to northeast direction in the evening and you will easily find the small Pleiades star cluster, which is at the bottom of the first image linked above. Then find the Cassiopeia some farther to the north direcion, it looks like a W, and between these two is the Perseus.
Then look with your binoculars at this constellation and if it's dark enough you will find a big round cloud, of the size of the square in the second image, which is the comet.
