77 (at least I think it is)

Found this on a 20 euronote this morning, given to me from a bank :) (The female teller didn't mind it was scribbled on, it seems)

unfortunately, no hit!

that person could have been thinking anything when they used the pen to mess up that note. It doesn't need to be "77"

The cow answered: "Moo."

It looks like the beginning of a stamp. The rest of it would be to the upper direction (but on another note or on a banderole).

A kind of stamp transporters use.

Oh, thanks. That sounds very plausible.

Look what I found this morning.. lol my second note with scribbling, this time it's a '37' on a 5 euronote. A friend had it, so I asked him to swap it with one of mine..

Was hoping it would be a hit, but no luck with it so far...

Scribbling short numbers on bills is seen very often in Spain & Portugal.

@doctorwho: Alas notes with just numbers won't have a higher chance to be hits. Most numbers are just scribbled on by cashiers counting their cash.

But it looks like me the bill is very well used. If that's the case the hit chance is higher, depending also on where the bill is from (in your area a worn T/Z, G/P, P/P or (especially) D/L Duisenberg :note-5: has a far greater chance to be a hit than a worn M/V, U/M, S/J or N/Y :note-5:)

For Trichet notes it is far harder to say as they are more often pooling notes spread in different areas.

Quizmaster forgot about the most higher risk of hit type! :note-5: F/P.
As you can see from herethey have the mayor chance of hit of all the other kind of notes (just count the number of hits scrolling the pages! and you'll discover that most of them are in Finland, as they were pooling notes there )

Good to know!
Now I can imagine going to the bank and asking them, do you have any F/P's please? I wonder what they would say if I really did that.. :D
