Then again, the Irish coins seem to be very much easier to find in Finland than in Germany. Wonder what's the reason for that.
Probably because of all the young Finns who are living and working in Ireland.

BTW: I haven't seen any :flag-cy: or :flag-mt: coin in circulation here. Once I've got a 50c :flag-si: . So they are very rare too :( .

Hmm. I have never heard of such phenomenon in Finland. Usually the rich abroad where the Finns go working is Norway.
And what I found interesting was that albeit there are relatively lot of Irish coins in Finnish circulation, there apparently are only very few Finnish coins in Ireland. I would like to know how that is achieved. Shouldn't the coins travel in both directions. BTW, the Irish coins in Finland are almost always 2€ coins. With a share of 80% to 90%. I don't think I've ever seen an Irish 1€ coin IRL.

I have never seen any 1ct and 2ct lions.
And you won't probably see any, because Finnish 1 c and 2 c aren't issued as circulation coinage.
Who knows, Kassel isn't that far and I've brought some rolls of both types in circulation here :)

I don’t know personally any Finn here in Ireland but they do work here, but I don’t know how many, and yes it is quite interesting that Irish coins are quite normal in Finland, because here almost impossible to find them

I live in England but recently my Aunt went to Belgium. She bought back 10 coins 2 of which were Luxembourg (20 cent 2004 and 5 cent 2007). and my Mom went to luxembourg and got me the full set of Luxembourg Euro coins. So i'm just saying for me getting Luxembourg coins is easy
