Your Hit notes

After I kept it for a couple of weeks or so, I spent the first hitnote in my possession a few days ago, at the airport, in a diner called sportsfan which seems to be populated by many tourists.. it's probably on its way to some other EU country right now...

If I still have the note in my hands, I save it until I find the best opportunity to spend it.

For example, I have spent 2 hits in Rome during the Italian National meeting and I have sent a hit and a triple to Bologna and they were spent there. Another hit I have spent in a tourist area in Malta.

Normally I don't keep them any longer than "regular notes" (which is a maximum of one week). However, I kept my 9th hit with vermeer for about a month before I spent it in Slovenia.

Just keep them if i´ll travel within a week or so, if i´m not travelling i just spend them a few km away of Ericeira.

I usually spent my hitnotes before I know it's a hit, due to the fact that I write down serial numbers when travelling around.

And the hits thats are still in my wallet when I am home I just spend like any other note.

No, I don't keep my hit notes any longer than my regular notes. I spend them normally, so that they can become triples.

My hit notes are the first notes I spend. I separate them from the rest and they get the first position in my wallet. And than they are spent at the first occasion.

It's 'dangerous' to take a hit-note to an EBT-meeting: if it's found at the meeting it will be moderated as "meeting-hit". So then you would 'lose' a hit.
(it happened to me too: I got a note at my first meeting which was already a hit: now it's a moderated triple)

You are right. I was careful where to spend them. I used them in restaurants where I knew no one would get them as change, and I didn't tell anyone that they were hits, until they were out of anyone's reach.

If I think that I was about just 1 meter far away I am able to start crying

About my 11 hits, only 4 of them were active ones. The firsth I know it was an hit too late, my uncle was far away, the second and the third have been spended after about 1 mounth , and the fourth is still with me: I am preserving it if will be possible to bring the note in a place like Benelux, Slovenia, Finland, Wien or Malta, where is easier for the note to be found again.
Of course, if I will do another active hit, I will spend my fourth active one

In any case, I do not keep it, just hoping one day I will get a good triple or whatever. It's kinda difficult but.. WHO KNOWS!!
