Suspicious notes and users

Hi,

I'm amazed! I even defended Pinco (trusting you moderators) in my best Italian (on the Italian forum), when he hit a fellow Italian early 2008, who found a piece of paper with a code and serial number combination in a bin.

This could happen to me also, because sometimes I have to spend notes that I got, before I can enter them, so I write them down and enter them when I get home. Someone (e.g. working at a paper distructor) could find my scribblings and enter them on EBT. Luckyly didnt happen yet, who's going to read scribblings on printed paper?

In the end I trust you, the cleaning team, more than any user!

So GOOD (AND BRAVE) JOB!! Go cleaning girls!!!!!

Let's get rid of all of them! But take a wel earned (Carnival (south of Netherlands, north of Belgium, west of Germany)) vacation first!

Pinco was a fake? ok, right delete notes...but we must stop also users that deliberately exchange notes with other users..an example?

yes....good job....well done! i'm so happy to have lost 19 hits from roma to roma.
as 1st hit-partner of Pincopallino i'm surely a perilous user with some strange virus in my notes and i ask to be controlled as soon as possible.
have i to wait for 5 years like pincopallino before someone just erase all my notes?

please let me know(by P.M.) something,before i ask for the complete cancellation of my account.

i don't want answer,just to know for certain that my first hundred thousand notes are untouchable before decide of my future in the project of eurobilltracker.

sorry for my english but i'm very angry.(and not with pincopallino)

I think the case here is that Vihtavuori where most of their bills are entered is a place where lives only about 2000 people (according to wikipedia). When they enter a lot of notes daily, it's quite obvious that they have many hits together.

Just to know: is anyone of the cleaning group able to tell here if all the notes deleted from Pincopallino's account were fake?
Or if thousands and thousands of good notes have been removed from the database for leak of time and/or good will for separating good and fake?

When the mess is so big and faking is going on for so long....
and the faker was telling continously that he wasn't faking, then .....
it is impossible to clear the whole mess out...
Even if the person is a nice person...
It is not the job of the cleaning girls to clean the 'sh...'.
If he or some one else can denominate the correct notes, then we can investigate how to get them back in the database....
But first of all they have to prove us that the entries are genuine!
The whole team from the Database workgroup found clear evidence of continous fake entries!

PS: For your information.... Nationality, position, is not taken into account when cleaning! (look at previous deletion of notes earlier on in this topic!)
One purpose...A correct and clean data-base...

That is his problem....
He created the 'sh...'!
But analysis of the notes gave only 1% genuine entries and 99% fake entries!
So may be we can forget this bad experience....

And cleaning girls will go further cleaning...

Finland or

Vienna: if people entering such a lot notes it is even normal that local hits happens. Yes, maybe they are not interesting for people outside of town but please don't mix this thing with something like faking! And feel free to come to the Summer EBTM09 in Vienna and have the experience of a hitratio about 1:100 yourself!

This was, for sure, the hardest decision ever made by the group. And, I'm pretty sure too, that they wouldn't expose this way without being certain about his behavior.

They wouldn't "buy" a war just because they can (eventually) delete notes at their own will. Believing in that is just silly.

Thanks for the effort. Keep it up. That's the only way to reward who truly believes in EBT!

Congratulations to the cleaning team.

After vtm, Pinco! Two weeks ago, I made a ranking of the top11 users in Portugal for the year 2009. Two of them were NOT fakers.

I was close to stop and give up this hobby as it is no fun being surrounded by some much... dirt.

In due time italian users will eventually realize also how good it is to breath in and get only fresh and clean air, and will also be thankful.

Btw, Portugal and Austria are fighting for the 5th place in the ranking, but cheating is just not the way to do it.
