I saw the positions Andorra, San Marino, Monaco and the Vatican in the nation list were changed, so that now they appear at the top of the list, among the other Euro-countries.
Although this thread seems to have become a place for complaining rather than proposing (;)), I think we'd be better off without those four micro-states in the top part. They're not even technically part of the €-zone (as for what I know, there's no difference whatsoever between the status of Andorra and that of Kosovo: so why one and not the other?). Moreover, the number of notes inserted there is *so* low, that the discomfort of having to find the right state in a list of 20 (and no longer of 16) greatly overshadows the comfort of having Monaco and San Marino at reach.

Imho. :)

personnally, I think that it would even be more interresting to include Kosovo and Montenegro to the first list !!!
so all the states where € is in current and daily use will appear at first, disregarding the fact of the state beiing part of €uroland or not

but it is all a matter of feeling :D

So, should we also remove Cyprus then? ;-)

What speaks against having countries like Monaco and San Marino at the top? They're using the Euro just like the other "official" countries of the Eurozone and even mint their own coins.

Avij's and Nerzhul's famous to do list

Currently it's possible to enter notes in EBT with PC or WAP, but sometimes we can't have an internet connection or a WAP mobile phone with us, so I had a crazy idea:

Tecnically, could be very difficult enter notes via SMS?

I think to a SMS structured like this one:
goofy@goofy.eu#pluto#Italy#00100#Roma#10#J001A1#S12345678901#got_from_Mickey
where the colors are:
e-mail address
password
Country
zip-code
city
value
short code
serial number
comment

Talking about Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican: it's probably a matter of personal taste. I personally would like them not to be mentioned at the top, because their status is completely different from that of the Eurozone countries (they're not represented in the ECB, they don't mint banknotes nor have their own code letter, they're not part of the Eurozone nor of the European Union). The opposite point of view is also acceptable, on the ground that "people use the euro there as well".

The situation in Andorra, moreover, is clearly different, because the country is not minting its own coins, and is using the euro "unilaterally" - like Montenegro and Kosovo. For the sake of consistency, Andorra should be removed, or Montenegro and Kosovo added.

The private note stats have been extended a bit and should be a lot more useful now.

Please note that the shareable stats in your user profile remain as they were for the time being.

Cool, though I have two comments.

The bills per day seem to be integer values*, which in case of small users (like me) doesn't really say much.

Also, the country flags look somewhat different.

And I really like the fact that I have entered more notes than 96.08% of the EBT users.

* They also seem to be calculated using the full year, instead of (only applies on the first year) the time since you started.

Edit, 2 April: about the Dutch translation. It says "Je hebt biljetten van X steden en X landen ingegeven." (~You entered bills of X cities and X countries). I think it's more correct to say "Je hebt in X steden en X landen biljetten ingegeven". The word "van" (to me) implies that the X cities and countries print the bills and you happen to find them somewhere.
My NIG stats have finally disappeared. My EBTST stats are still available.

Very nice feature, thanks a lot! :) Though I am not sure if the statement "This means you entered more notes than 99,85% of all EBT users and are currently on rank 212!" is encouraging or discouraging, as even users with only one note should get a 30% or so value there, right?

A minor bug: in the Expert Form, the box which shows the top 10 locations at the top right seems to have problems with special characters. For example, having the Austrian capital as one of my top 10 locations, in the Esperanto version of the page it shows the name "A &# 365; strio" (without spaces) instead of the correct "Aŭstrio".

Additionally, while this is maybe not the right place to do so, I'd like to become a volunteer for the Esperanto translation, if this is possible. There seems to be at least another Esperanto translator active nowadays, but, if we were two, one could care after the errors of the other. As of now, the Esperanto version seems to be very rapidly updated when new messages become available, but the language could be improved in some parts which were probably never reviewed by anyone after being written. In such situations, errors can often occur, not because of poor knowledge of the language, but because no refinement is made after the first-hand translation.

A minor suggestion:
Would it be possible to have 2 "OK" buttons on the "expert" form, one above the form (like in the "advanced") and another where it is now, at the bottom of the form?

Hmmm, how about simply submitting the form by pressing ENTER? It's called expert form for a reason ;-)

I got one hit in WG and I was surprised that my hit partner sent to my personal email few congratz lines.
Then I discovered, answering back, that if an user agrees, he can activate the blind email, so that other users can contact him directly on his personal mail, but without showing the email address.
It can be interesting to be used and those don't want to be bothered just deactivate it!
I collect and swap 2€ CC, PM for swap!!!!

Because it doesn't work on Macintosh, at least with Firefox... And I have tried several key combinations... :|

I always use the expert form and I always use the transfer form at the bottom of the page...
