Re: Euro cash dispensers outside the Euro zone
Could you (or anyone else who happens to know) tell me where this ATM is exactly. I'm in London next week, so I would really like to know.maarsy wrote:not that i saw one yet but im sure the eurostar terminal in st pancras station london also could use a euro atm
My NIG stats have finally disappeared. My EBTST stats are still available.

According to Heathrow-Airport website the zip codes are for:Klazu wrote:What is by the way the correct address of London-Heatrow?
Terminal 1: TW61AP
2: TW61EW
3: TW61QG
4: TW63XA
5: TW62GA
That doesn't sound very sure. Just there could be one...maarsy wrote:not that i saw one yet but im sure the eurostar terminal in st pancras station london also could use a euro atm
Re: Euro cash dispensers outside the Euro zone
Right, but there could very very well be one, hehe. "Raphaels Bank will be running an ATM giving commission-free euros at the station, following on from its other cash machines in Dundee, and Ebbsfleet International station." This is from an article http://www.travelbite.co.uk/newsbrief/r ... 483880.htm published in early 2008; have not been there to verify it though.hadibe wrote:That doesn't sound very sure. hi, you can do one thing aswell, there is a FOREX in Leicester Square (front of KFC), people working there are quite gently so you can ask them to change your 100€ or 50€ banknotes in small ones (free of charge, of course)R/J wrote:Could you (or anyone else who happens to know) tell me where this ATM is exactly. I wonder, if I change my entries from Middlesex TW6 1AP* to London Heathrow Airport TW6 1AP, will the dot be in (exactly) the same place?
* All my Heathrow bills were received in Terminal 1, hence TW6 1AP as a postcode.

is it far from st pancras or waterloo station ( i only know mi way around those 2 places since i never stay in london longer as an houre normaly )
Re: Euro cash dispensers outside the Euro zone
if you can use the tube is not so far, 5 stops with the northern line (direction Kennington-Oval), but if you're busy isn't that cool because is full of people everytime (Leicester Square is the main "visited" square together with Piccadilly Circus).maarsy wrote:luc4mz wrote:hi, you can do one thing aswell, there is a FOREX in Leicester Square (front of KFC), people working there are quite gently so you can ask them to change your 100€ or 50€ banknotes in small ones (free of charge, of course)R/J wrote:Could you (or anyone else who happens to know) tell me where this ATM is exactly. Re: Euro cash dispensers outside the Euro zone
I managed to find the ATMs for Euros at St Pancras yesterday when I returned back to Brussels.
They are in the the area where you enter after checking in for the Eurostar trains. Easiest way to find them is to head for the toilettes, as the machines are just in front of their entrance under the escalators and between the bar and "the bookshop".
By the way, there was another Euro ATM at the third floor of Marks & Spencers on Oxford Street, but it didn't work with my Belgian maestro card. Luckily the one in St Pancras accepts all major credit cards.
So now I'm curiosly waiting for my bank statements to see how much this "commission free" operation has costed. And I'll still be waiting for hits with the notes, as they were brand new E/H
notes straight from the printer.
