10000 bills in just 44 days !
We've reached 10000 bills making up about 225 000 € in just 44 days... that's pretty fast !
It took 29 days to get to 50 000 euros
It took 34 days to get to 100 000 euros
It took 42 days to get to 200 000 euros
How long until we get 300 000 euros, 500 000 euros and 1 000 000 euros ?

The original idea of register banknotes is from http://www.wheresgeorge.com . You can see the # of members and banknotes in just three or four years:
1.051.755 users who have entered 15.578.868, total of $91.953.304 !!!
Let's make this site to a succes like wheresgeorge.com! (I will do my best...

Ok, well today we reached 250 000 euros. So that's 14+31=45 days to get to that mark.EuroBillTracker wrote: It took 29 days to get to 50 000 euros

That's 10 times faster than for the first 50 000

At this rate we'll get 1 000 000 euros in the DB in just 1 month.
See you around the 20th of march then...
Hey we might reach it on mmy birthday
Webmaster
Ehh, the last two weeks we have an average of about € 100.000 in 8 days (2 days after the 300.000 we are at 325.000) so if that doesn't speed up a bit it wil almost take 2 months to reach the 1.000.000At this rate we'll get 1 000 000 euros in the DB in just 1 month
Everyday there are quite a few new users so hopefully it will go a bit faster even though a lot of the users who registered only entered a couple of notes once and never came back. I even have a referal of someone who registered but never entered a single note.

Yeah, I was thinking we should do a sort of mailing list thingy and write to every one. What does every one think ?smh wrote: Everyday there are quite a few new users so hopefully it will go a bit faster even though a lot of the users who registered only entered a couple of notes once and never came back. Mailing list
I think it would be a good idea with a mailing list. First of all more users return to the site + you can send messages every time an update is made or something similar.
A mailing list is okay for people who subscribe to it, but please do not start spaming people who registered at this site. Maybe a newsletter every once in a while, but do not make it possible for someone to send mail to everyone else.
BTW, if you are looking for a free mailing list you can try yahoo

I think it's a good idea indeed to add checkboxes in the user account details. This way, users will be able to easily opt in/out from notifications (when one of your bills is re-entered) and newsletters.smh wrote: Yes, would be great. But only write to people who subscribed. Give them the option when they create an account
I was thinking: how about a welcome message for new users. You could mail some basic instruction, their username (and password) and stuff like that.emmem wrote: I think it's a good idea indeed to add checkboxes in the user account details.
