Re: Scribbling on notes
I guess public servants from all around the World must get special training sessions for stating unrealistic stupidities. And I would even further guess that these special trainings are organized by the World Specialists for narrow-minded public servants, who obviously are French...japh wrote:This morning when exchanging notes at the Post Office I was informed that they will no longer accept old notes, dirty notes or notes that have been written upon.

Next time tell him/her to pi$$ off, they say that but very often they quickly give out very dirty/written upon notes. Just look at a note I got yesterday from a Bank in my town-->>japh wrote:This morning when exchanging notes at the Post Office I was informed that they will no longer accept old notes, dirty notes or notes that have been written upon.

Re: Scribbling on notes
I'm not sure what you're getting at here, but I handle quite a lot of notes in Ireland and I don't think they're (on average) any better or worse than anywhere else. Though on rare occasions I do get notes that are in spectacularly awful condition.ErGo wrote:I thought, most of the notes injaph wrote:This morning when exchanging notes at the Post Office I was informed that they will no longer accept old notes, dirty notes or notes that have been written upon.are old and/or dirty?!?
