Hogn Kong tour bus crash in Taiwan...fortunately for me...:(

Post by eurobillsandcoins »

Terrible, I was on holiday in Taiwan this past week in Taipei. I was on the tour bus to northern Taiwan for sightseeing, when the driver argues with someone on his cell phone, is driving very fast, and drives the damn bus off the highway off a hill! The entire bus was flattened at the top, and five people died. I was fortunately hurt slightly, getting some bruises and so on. The bus driver is reported drunk. My wife was not injured. We both returned to Hong Kong last night, fairly shook up. What a horrifying experience, rolling down the hill in a bus, thinking I was going to die! http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/taiwan/ ... 2003207515

Damn! Nice to hear you're alright, but not so nice to hear about the people killed. Dying to the hands of a drunk driver must be the stupidest way of dying I know.

Pheww, that's bad!
You're lucky to have your life left. I can only imagine what it must feel like when you see some people and half a minute later they're gone..
Well.. Actually I can't imagine that too well, but I can anyway imagine the feeling.
I feel very sorry for what has happened and hope you and your wife will get over it as well as possible.

A minute of my silence for the accident.
