You can however perfectly see its profile when you click on the same city but selecting Ranking-cities, here : http://en.eurobilltracker.com/rankings/ ... s=0&maec=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
After translating and reading your posts in the French forum I think I know your problem. It seems that you are a citymanager, too. The name of the location is bold, right? That's because your entry has no coordinates. But that is ok, as it is not spelled the right way.

The correct name is Val-d'Illiez (ID 486611), but your entry is spelled Val d'Illiez (without the dash, ID 489521).

Just leave it like it is (or you could correct your note entries to Val-d'Illiez)

This note I received in Nieuwe Kempen which is a place in Genk, but now Nieuwe Kempen is located in Opglabbeek, which is wrong.
Nieuwe Kempen doesn't has a city profile yet. Can you make a new city profile for Nieuwe Kempen.

I think both Nieuwe Kempen aren't locations. I merged them according to postalcode to Genk or Opglabbeek.

Nieuwe Kempen belongs to Opglabbeek. Here you can see the location in google streetview, with a yellow sign:

I got my note from Lambermont, but not Lambermont (Verviers), but Lambermont (Muno). As it would make a new dot, I would appreciate very much if it was corrected. According to Wikipedia (NL), correct location should be 49.704722 N, 5.192222 E.

By the way, the location of Chiny on Google Maps is a little displaced, as well, and placed to far south. Not that it matters that much to me, I already had both dots.

Looking through my list of municipalities, I've just noted the following oddity, on the English version of the site.

In cities with the same name as a province and municipality, I have tracked both Utrecht and Groningen. However Utrecht is called Utrecht (gemeente) and Groningen is called Groningen (city). Please change the 'city' to 'gemeente', or alternatively change them both to 'municipality'.
My NIG stats have finally disappeared. My EBTST stats are still available.

I have asked twice for adding the right coördinates of the town Beausejour on the island La Désirade (Guadeloupe), but it still has the wrong coördinates. It is still located on Marie-Galante, which is wrong. It should be located on the island of La Désirade. The coördinates are 16.305, -61.074, and not 15.910,-61.222 (which is where Beausejour is plotted now).

Given the tendency to create city profiles for international airports, I was surprised that bills for Manchester Airport :flag-uk: ended up in the general Manchester city profile.

Normally this is made only when the airport is not inside the limits of the city. Its why the Lisbon airport is included in the city of Lisbon. I don't know if its the case of the Manchester airport.

If that is the case, then for example Rotterdam Airport should be merged with Rotterdam, and Eindhoven Airport with Eindhoven.

Manchester Airport "Ringway" is within the City of Manchester boundaries, but Liverpool Airport "John Lennon" which is also within the boundary of the City of Liverpool has its own designation.

There seems to be some inconsistancy here

Maybe it's time to review these airportprofiles. In the beginning of this thread - back in 2006 (the time that cityprofiles got numbers instead of names) - Gauss posted this :
Gauss wrote:Airports are, for the time being, in general not joined to the city they're named after. Particularly not those lying "far" from that city.
for the time being in six years nothing is solved.

In my opnion :

Airport X within city X  merged with city X
Airport X within city/village Y  merged with city/village Y

A good example of the last one is Orly (Aéroport Paris-Orly).

I agree. But I think we should have another possibility:

Airport X "without" any city/village  Airport X

Sometimes is near a small village but not inside its limits.
