In Spain there's a complete lack of consistency to this. Some branches of a given bank (La Caixa, specifically) will let you change more than 600 euro without any question, some others require a deposit + withdrawal. I was even able to changes notes just by holding my national identity card in my hand without showing it to the clerk, and without being asked if I had an account with them!Dawizz wrote:And one bank (C.G.D) will only accept them if you make a deposit

Re: Comments from/to non-Portuguese users [See First Post]
Hi, I'm requesting some translation help. I'd need to translate a short text (some 6 sentences) to Portuguese. The text is not directly related to EBT (although two trackers are involved), I'd need the translation primarily for personal needs. I'm sending a letter to Guinea-Bissau and the official language there seems to be Portuguese. I already have the text translated to French as a backup, but Portuguese might be a nice touch. I'd probably send the letter with the text in English, French and Portuguese to maximise the chances of my message getting understood. Contact me if you can help. Thanks
[edit: translation has been provided by lmviterbo, thanks

I'll be glad to help. As you may have noticed, some days have already elapsed with Babel translations to Portuguese needed. Usually I'm rather prompt but this week has been work-crazy. If you need your translation really soon, I might not be able to help.avij wrote:Hi, I'm requesting some translation help. I'd need to translate a short text (some 6 sentences) to Portuguese. Dear Portuguese EBT colleagues,
I need your help to assign the position in the map for two locations that I got from my trip to Madeira (very nice place to visit). All the other cities are appearing in the map, but the following two are missed, as they shall be new locations or maybe we are not correctly introducing the name/zip code:
Penha d'Águia 9225-050
Paúl da Serra 9370
Please provide your kind support in order to locate these two points. If any additional information is required, please do not hesitate to contac us by private message preferably.
Thanks for your help and regards,

Penha d'Águia is not a town name. It's a place (and three streets) in the former village of Casas Próximas, which belongs to the town of Porto da Cruz. I already added it to Porto da Cruz. If you prefer your register to be more precise, you may edit the note.eurojuanmi&pepito wrote:Penha d'Águia 9225-050

As to Paul da Serra (correct spelling doesn't have an accent), I'll contact you via pm so that you may tell me the exact location of your note, because that is a large plateau encompassing more than one municipality, with only a few hotels, restaurants and such scattered all over but no town.

Thanks Imviterbo.
I will ask EBT to edit Paul da Serra name for this bill, as I already edited once and it needs approval to be changed once again.

Muy buenas,
Hace unos días, introduje un billete en Portela (Madeira), pero me ha creado un perfil nuevo de ciudad en vez de agruparlo en el ya existente Portela.
¿Podeis agruparlo?
¿Puede ser debido a que el código postal que introduje no es correcto (9200-161)? Si es así bastaría con que editara el billete al CP correcto.
Gracias por vuestra ayuda!!!

No sé porque no funcionó el sistema automático. Tú código postal era correcto.
