In the same update I expect the Dutch municipalities to be added. :).

I can not guarantee it is completely correct, so if you think an error has been made feel free to send me a PM.

Hi Sneakster,
You have to select the charts to be included in the charts-page yourself manually.
To do that go in the NIG-program to File--> Special Operations --> Simple Charts. There you can choose from 240 possible charts to be displayed on your Chartspage.
Simply select those charts you want by choosing "Separate Chart Page" from the dropdown menu and put in some extra comment if you like.

Alas, tried that before, no results at all. However, the charts are available, that's most important to me.

Rheinland-Pfalz is ready now. Next will be Baden-Württemberg...

Problem solved, just a matter of the checkbox: disable creating charts :!:

This information is most probably going to be added to the next version of the CSV file. Another thing that has been requested is the inclusion of coordinate data for the regular notes. I don't know if it's useful for you or NIG, but this information is also going to be there.
Bobtail wrote:And now that you got me started, it would be also nice if the CSV file was more cleverly organized and the comment was the last column, so it would be much easier to recover from or completely bypass errors caused by, hmm.., "strange things happening" in the comment field
I'm sorry, darling, but wouldn't that be just postponing the problem? The same "quoting" method is applied for the city and postal code fields as well, so if there's something weird in those fields that your de-quoting algorithm can't handle, you'd be back to square one when NIG chokes on those fields. So, better fix your code to handle the "quoted" data properly

On the other hand, if you do find something that's not working according to the specs, please let me know and I'll fix things accordingly.

Yo, way cool! I see a few uses for that... 8)

On the downside, the downloadsize will be that much bigger then (it doesn't really matter to me 'cause I've got a 4 Mbps flatrate connection but for slower links with lots of notes this might be a burden). :|

Westinghouse,
as this isn't the Dutch subforum, it'd be considerate to write in English, so our fellow EBT'ers who are Dutch-handicapped can understand your remark as well... ;)

Since the re-launch of the EuroBillTracker site I came across a minor bug in NIG.(version 1473)
When browsing your hitlist, and clicking your hitpartners name, you get re-directed to your own profile (on EBT's main page), instead of the profile of that specific hitpartner.

Hi,

with the new version 1473, there seems to be a problem with character encoding. Instead of "Köln" I see "Kln" with this symbol. I use firefox 1.5.3, seems as if it is not understanding CHARSET=utf-8 or the file is not really utf-8 encoded..

@DaBear: Explanation & solution depends on the exact place where "K?ln" is located in the statistics. (I'm guessing it's caused by codes_germany.txt not being in UTF-8 format)

Maybe this is not a related issue, but it seems some characters went a bit haywire during the conversion process.

Very cool news about the IDs and coordinates, both are very useful data. Seeing all my locations in Google Earth has been on my wish list.

If carriage returns inside comments are not part of the specs, there shouldn't be problems (the error recovery thingy will give NIG some oxygen and prevent total choking).

Possibly, we'll look into this.

I just got rid of all carriage returns in the database (all 10 of them) and made sure they won't appear again.
