I'm glad that trackers are eager to come in Italy
I'll give you some dates asap (let's hope by the end of this week), i have to discuss them in a best way with other organizers.

I'd like to remember the right topic where to post if you can or not join W-EBTM09

In Bologna there is a good and big hostel, it is an "hostelling international" one; I sleeped there last June and I were OK...
... but this winter beware of the friendly hit when we will pay!
I've booked it (allthough it's about 6 km from the city-center ) from 26th-30th March.
Because it's too far to drive in one day, I'm now looking for two adresses to stay on my way to and from Bologna (and to get extra notes/dots/cities etc. ).
The last EBTM all made badges which were indeed quite nice. But I have a suggestion to make some language issues easier: What about adding flags also for also spoken languages, not only for the native country as there might be people at a EBTM which are not able to communicate in english but maybe in french or german and it might be annoying for those to search for others they might have a little conversation with. And i suggest to make this language-flage in 3 sizes: A big one for native or very skilled knowledge, a medium one enough to do a conversation and a small one just to indicate that there might be a bit of understanding To give some examples: I'd suggest e.g. gapgersek wearing a big german (or austrian ) flag too as he speaks german like a native speaker. Thus persons which might come to an EBTM who speak german but not (so good) english might speak german with him. Etc...
To reduce the graphical stuff I'd also suggest to remove the forum avatars from the badges.

I agree! Both on the flags and the avatars! But how will you represent a language by a flag? I would suggest using a two-character abbreviation, or something like that...
(NL Nederlands, DE Deutsch, EN English, FR Français, etc.)
I at least need the avatars. I don't know most of you people by nicknames, but mainly through avatars. Figuring out who is who gets a bit difficult if the avatars disappear..
