How do you enter a banknote that has travelled in your pocket?

I enter the place where I originally got the bill.

I think it's a good idee to write something in the comment section.
I never really did it before but it's nice to read what has been done with your bill. I will do that from now.
But It seems to me that someone like de-jo won't do that. That would be a lot of work :P .

Rob.

and i confirm... when you "put" 30 bills per day it's not so easy to write a comment....except if you like to spend your time :?

but i'm agrre with you ... a bill with comment is better!

You could add funny comments: from an old lady who suffers from this, from a young guy who suffers from that...

I know you have the "serment d'Hypocryte"! ;-)

I prefer bills which smell the sun oil and the strand of the south... :)

About the multiple input of bills and the comment

If you write comments like "good condition" "Wrinkled" "Got it from local shop", you can reuse them next time (only with IE).

I do this often. After inputting many notes, I have a good list, which I can choose comments out. Not every note needs an unique comment you know. I believe De-Jo always uses "entered at 24h shop" or something of that kind. I do like this. If a bill turns up, we can see the story behind it... Can be used for PR afterwards...

How can I both make the note comment longer and allow the list to include the comment ?
You can have a list where notes with comments are tagged with an icon or something. It's what Where's George did, and I think it worked out pretty well.
Great idea !!! Someone send me an icon of a postit or something. Has to be the same size as the flags...
Does somebody have one? It was a good idea but forgotten since...

I enter the place where i originally get the note. After spending it i'll enter the changes (if any) in the place i get them and so on. If I bring the note back (for some reason) into the place where i got it, it will anyway be the true distance the note has travelled without me... which is the most interesting part of the tracking.
join #ebt @ IRCnet, welcome =)
my stats, which are olde ones...
