I found out today that stacks of crisp notes that came were all V on the 20 euro bills and X (R) for 10E bills. Is this already happening so quickly? One printer prints the notes for the specific denomination. The 50s were Belgian. All of these seem to correspond to the info on what country is supposed to print whatever notes.
I want your input.
Hong Kong-Asia's world city.
hmmm very nice results to Portugal, and the best thing is that they were achieved in very short time..
but I must say, first I was very glad that we had more notes then Spain, and almost catching France, but this is very bad for the main purpose: INTERNATIONAL HITS!, so I guess I'm going to take the dust of my spanish and spread the word through some forums...
bn
ps: is not the first time I do this, the problem is that the nice foruns, with lots of users, need me to register, and the other ones, no one goes there...

Spain is a bit like the missing link ... I have not explanation
But you Portuguese can convince them, as a fast growing EBT-community
Time is on our side ...
See what I found on the Belgian National Bank website:
In short, due to billcurrents from north to south (mainly by tourisme), the Eurosystem can redistribute big piles of bills to places where there is a shortage. So I guess that's why the bunch of Spanish bills ending up in belgium...Hoe zal worden omgegaan met de bankbiljettenstromen tussen eurolanden ?

I noticed the same at the Belgian coast!bhoeyb wrote:Looks like at the moment, there are more and more Spanish 20E m007.. banknotes in Belgium. A few days ago, I've got 7 brand new 20 E m007.. notes from the bank. Are they importing already new foreign banknotes??
Does someone noticed this in his country too?
Also m007..

Those Spanish notes are fresh and new!
They never were in circulation in Spain, so they don't give more hits than other notes...
Even less I think, because they are only since recently in cirulation here in Belgium.

Yes, you're right. I think those bills are from the pooling system: In 2002, Spain printed fresh M007* 20E notes, like they were told by ECB. Belgium has been printing T003* 50E notes, for example.Tiger wrote:Those Spanish notes are fresh and new!
Probably, Belgium need new 20E notes but they aren't allowed to print the notes themself so they have to buy (?) 20E notes from a country who are allowed to print them = Spain. That's why we are getting many uncirculated Spanish notes in Belgium at this moment.
It's the same for Belgian T003* 50E notes in Greece.

Maybe because Belgium doesn't need so many new T003 50E notes themself? And Greece has a shortage of 50E notes so they buy some from Belgium?? Probably, in the futur, we'll have more T003 50E notes in Belgium too ...Tiger wrote:Why do we get so little of these notes ?
I mean, 2 on 2000 is VERY rare.
