This reminds me of something that took place 24/25 years ago. I was a teen and living in Miami. I wanted to phone collect to Portugal, so I pick up the public phone near the corner of the Apartment building I was living in (and yes back then pay phones where everywhere, you didn't need to walk more than a block to find one or two of them...) and dialed 0. The conversation went on like this.... AT&T good morning how may I help you, Hi I want to place a collect call to Portugal the number is... Sorry umm where?... PORTUGAL..... More silence.... Oh yes Portugal right next to Peru? Right? NO PORTUGAL, EUROPE on the left side of Spain... Europe you say, are you sure? After this question I hung up the phone, let's be serious this was AT&T the Belgacom/Portugal Telecom of the USA back then. European geo-literacy is a bit overrated, though. Let's be honest: Portugal is a tiny country, not very important in the world politics. How many among the educated ebtists can pinpoint all countries on the map which are similar in size to Portugal? Who among us can locate Azerbaijan or Liberia? OK, most of the educated people will know the continent they're in, granted, but not much more than that. And I bet most European call centre assistants won't have this level of geographic awareness either.

I should be able to do that, but will definitely start failing when we're talking about the Caribbean or Pacific Island nations. Or some of the "smaller" countries in central Asia (often bigger then imagined with our Euro-centric atlases, where the whole of Asia is compared to the whole of Europe...) And it used to be a specialty of mine, so I could imagine it's not as easy for most people.

Yep and apart from Lisboa, it will be the only one that it is correct, as all the other municipalities have the flag of Lisboa instead of the correct one.

Yes, it is, but a few of the others are not. Each municipality has its own official flag. When "blank", not inserted, EBT displays the District flag.

Well, after some Wikipedia research I suppose that Praia do Carvoeiro is the same as Carvoeiro and Lagoa is the municipality.Marco1970 wrote:Can anybody help me? Where am I going?
