Re: Incorrect dots and inaccuracies among city profiles
A few missing dots from my holiday:
Lety 49.9423, 14.0282
Králův Dvůr 49.9225, 14.2537
And one from last year's holiday in Albania. There is a dot, but it doesn't appear on my map. It's probably misplaced.
Dajç 41.9149, 19.6045

Re: Incorrect dots and inaccuracies among city profiles
Hi,
I entered a note in 18010 Granada, but the dot appears over centre of the city (see attached screen print), while Google shows that majority of 18010 area is more to the east (see Google screen print attached).
Can this be fixed or am I wrong and that is not how the dots are displayed?
Thanks

Re: Incorrect dots and inaccuracies among city profiles
Hi Petox,
No, You are not wrong, we try to be so accurate as possible. Granada 18010 is dotted where it is.
If I look to the postoffices in Granada 18010 The most are situated in the centre, so for this time I think the dot is on a better place than in the centre of 18010 that is more outside
Sugestions are welcome

Re: Incorrect dots and inaccuracies among city profiles
Petox, the dot coords for Granada (18010) is now corrected. You may have to wait a few hours to see that reflected on your map. Or, luckily, a simple hard refresh will do.
Burdie: I took the liberty of geolocating Granada (18010) to 37.1871, -3.5885 (@ Parque Cármenes de San Miguel). I have also deleted all other (18010) location children within the Granada profile. As you may know, you don't need to geolocate all children: the system will automatically assign the exact same geolocation to any child with the exact same postal code within its parent, if it finds one.

Re: Incorrect dots and inaccuracies among city profiles
Hi!
Could someone please help me with this dot:
https://en.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=250796088
I'm not completely sure if I've chosen the right city.. Is it Jerez-Sanlucar, Las Tablas or Cádiz? There's so many possibilities, but I have a feeling that I should have chosen Las Tablas.
Thank you very much in advance!

Looking at the comment I'd agree with you. Please change the location to 11408 Las Tablas if possible.Tárrega wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 7:07 pm Hi!

Hi all,
Today I looked at my Dotmap and I noticed a dot that is suddenly missing. It is the German city of Kassel. Has something changed in the allocation of postal codes causing this?

Re: Incorrect dots and inaccuracies among city profiles
Please provide a link to the note that you got the dot with. Then I can have a look at the details.
Re: Incorrect dots and inaccuracies among city profiles
Well, it must have been four or five years since I've been in the area and all this time the dot was filled in. So I can't really tell which note (or notes) supposed to represent the dot anymore, but I guess one of these ones should do it:

The coordinates for 34131 Kassel are 51.3138, 9.4249 (thejay wrote: ↑Mon Jan 19, 2026 8:11 pm Well, it must have been four or five years since I've been in the area and all this time the dot was filled in. It looks like another plotter corrected the coordinates, as they must have been in the eastern dot before - and were wrong.
