i have recently read that the price for an ounce of gold will raise up to $1.000
how do you think would people still buy golden coins, medals? i think no.
every thing is getting expencive. soon golden coins will be minted only for exhibitions... not for sellings. they will be so expencive that no one can afford to buy them.

There are big coins and small coins. If you only get a small coin for the money that you want to spend, you have an even stronger feeling that you have something very valuable in your possession. People will buy gold as long as they don't think it could lose its worth. If no one will buy gold, the price will fall again.rangitoto wrote:they will be so expencive that no one can afford to buy them.
