collectors-item !?
I have found a bill with 2 different serial-numbers !!!!
One serial is not valid but the other one is, that why I noticed.
Uxxxx0201xx? en Uxxxx0201xx? Only the last questionmark is different.
On first sight it's not fake.
What should I do ??????

IF it's real, i think it is very strange, and i think it certainly will be worth more than it's actual value...
But i suggest that you should look again, because i sounds really strange!!
(I think you have done it a thousand times already....
, but nevertheless you should check it again!)

Perhaps you could cover a part of the serienumber because otherwise you will see that some people will enter it as well in our database...

Then my guess is you'd better not go to the bank. Because money is State property in a way, so they could just take it away if they had to I think (and refund it of course). I'm not sure about it, but I'd check that out first if I were you!
And if I'm right, I'd guess the best thing is to send an e-mail to the ECB with the scans. Well, depends a bit on how determined you are to keep it, or to helping out solving quite a strange production error.

If it turns out to be a counterfeit, it will be seized and one will not be refunded. If it is a proper note, one gets it back and then it should be kept as a rarity!Phaedrus42 wrote:Then my guess is you'd better not go to the bank. This is a very good specimen of what appears to be a mismatched number when the numbering machines wheels are stuck and are on the same number and is printed mismatched. In Canada ive seen banknotes like these and they were worth 50-100 times theirs face value for ones that even had 2 or 3 numbers mismatched depending on their condition. Judging from this wonderful specimen you presented and if its authentic in that conditon its the first example ive ever seen so I estimate its worth somewhere between €1000-€2000 since today I consulted a Paris collecting shop and they said in F-VF conditon its worth around that area. You may just get rich from this banknote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hong Kong-Asia's world city.
But I think it's better to stay calm and sell it not too early. I once had an empty 12 marks telephone card (which was btw brown and extremely ugly) and before I could throw it away I saw the same card on display in a shop window for sale for 150 marks. Next day I sold my specimen to the shop owner for 120 marks. I was surprised that telephone cards can be so valuable and thought I had made a great deal. But a year later I found out that the same card was dealt for 1000-2000 markseurobillsandcoins wrote:You may just get rich from this banknote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()

Wimpy, maybe it's a good idea to keep your rare banknote a bit and watch the market value carefully.
